Barbara has been a member of Maidenhead Synagogue for over 20 years, volunteering for many of these and working with the synagogue for 10+ years.

With the broad title of ‘Community Projects’, Barbara is the point of contact and go-to for many events held through the synagogue from religious to social events, talks and outings.

If you’re a member, you’ll have spotted the regular and very helpful emails from Barbara with the synagogue’s upcoming activities.

Now a self-taught Zoom expert as a result of Covid-19, Barbara has been and continues to be an invaluable member of the team, keeping the synagogue community connected online and engaged through difficult times.

A biochemist, medical writer and teacher by profession, Barbara lives locally with husband Mike, and has two sons (now in their 20s) both of whom enjoyed a Jewish upbringing with Maidenhead Synagogue.
