“I have one regret in life – that I didn’t join Maidenhead earlier! I joined in 2017 and have found a warm, welcoming community who has always made me feel at home. I thoroughly enjoy going to Shabbat services (a lifeline during lockdown) and the monthly Torah Breakfasts. I have attended cultural events such as book readings, talks on art and the Carl Davis musical was a highlight. I was privileged to have my Bat Mitzvah to mark my 60th birthday in November 2021. Having never had one before, it is something which I have wanted to do before and the fact that I eventually undertook it, is a testament to Maidenhead and the Rabbi at that time, Jonathan Romain.”
